Our Mission

We are a scientific and educational association dedicated to improving burn care, supporting research, and preventing burn injuries. Together, we will work towards these goals through multidisciplinary support with members that reflect the burn care team’s spectrum, including first responders and burn survivors.

We are committed to advancing best practices, developing burn organization on provincial and federal levels, and implementing a mass casualty management plan. The CBA is critical for our vast Canadian healthcare landscape, and we will strive to improve outcomes for burn patients and survivors. Essential to our Vision and Mission is building an equitable, diverse, and inclusive community that promotes respect for all.

We mean everyone
Equity. Diversity. Inclusion. We are greater together. To effectively advance burn care in Canada, we need members that reflect the patients we serve and Canada. Everyone is welcome.
