Nancy Coutris is Clinical Dietitian with the Burn Program at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB. Following the completion of her degree in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba in 1997, she completed her dietetic internship at the Health Sciences Centre in 1999. Since then she has worked in various areas of the hospital until 2008 when she became the Clinical Dietitian for the Burn Program at the Health Sciences Centre, while continuing to cover in the areas of critical care.

Aside from direct patient care, she serves on the Program Committee for the Canadian Burn Conference and is the chair for Clinical Nutrition. She has been involved in numerous presentations at the American and Canadian Burn meetings. She is involved in ongoing clinical research and has published in peer reviewed journals. Nancy is involved in mentoring nutrition, nursing, and medical students, and has an active role in SGA (Subjective Global Assessment) training at the Health Sciences Center.
