Sarah Rehou is currently the Research Coordinator at the Ross Tilley Burn Centre in Toronto, Ontario. After graduating with an Honors degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, she joined the research team at the Ross Tilley Burn Centre. Sarah then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she completed an MS in Medical Physiology and a graduate certificate through the Clinical Research Scholars Program, Center for Clinical Investigation at Case Western Reserve University. While at Case Western, she focused on research ethics and served on the Faculty Senate, Committee on Research. She received the Ruth Barber Moon Award for her leadership skills and academic promise. Sarah maintained a strong relationship with the Ross Tilley Burn Centre and took on the position of Research Coordinator upon her return. She has many years of service to the profession and serves on numerous committees and as a reviewer for academic journals. Sarah has more than twenty peer-reviewed publications with an interest in burn-induced hypermetabolism and patient outcomes.
