Sharon graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSN and went on to complete the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course through Wounds Canada and the University of Toronto. She has worked in burn care, as an RN, for over 10 years. She currently works as the nurse in the burn and wound clinic at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC.
Sharon also volunteers with Mercy Ships, an international NGO hospital ship in West Africa. When on board, she works with burn survivors receiving burn contracture scar release surgeries. She enjoys long walks on the beach and overnight hiking trips throughout Vancouver Island.
