We’re reaching out to you on behalf of the program committee for the upcoming Canadian Burn Conference taking place in Calgary, AB Oct 16-18, 2025.

Our goal for the 2025 meeting is to ensure that we create a program that serves the needs of all burn care providers. The agenda will be focused on sharing our unique, Canadian experiences to learn from one another and improve care across the country.

This is a preliminary reminder to not only save the date for attending the conference, but also to encourage you to inform us of your needs and goals in attending such a conference. As you contemplate your conference options for the near future, we encourage you to consider joining like-minded and passionate health practitioners from across the country for a truly Canadian experience.

Please stay tuned for further information as to the structure and content of the program as it takes shape, and don’t hesitate to contact the program committee directly with any ideas or suggestions. Burn Centres across Canada are at the forefront of care from the initial injury, during hospitalization and rehabilitation, and in the long-term recovery and adaptation throughout the life course. This list includes the websites and contact information for centres in Canadian cities.

Our Mission

We are a scientific and educational association dedicated to improving burn care, supporting research, and preventing burn injuries. Together, we will work towards these goals through multidisciplinary support with members that reflect the burn care team’s spectrum, including first responders and burn survivors.

We are committed to advancing best practices, developing burn organization on provincial and federal levels, and implementing a mass casualty management plan. The CBA is critical for our vast Canadian healthcare landscape, and we will strive to improve outcomes for burn patients and survivors. Essential to our Vision and Mission is building an equitable, diverse, and inclusive community that promotes respect for all.
