Dr. Nickerson is the Medical Director of the Calgary Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Centre, and Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Calgary.
He received his MD from the University of Calgary in 1995, and completed his Plastic Surgery training at the University of British Columbia, receiving his FRCSC designation in Plastic Surgery in 2000. He completed a fellowship in burn care at the Ross Tilley Burn Centre in Toronto in 2001.
