Dr. Jack Rasmussen is a plastic surgeon and intensivist working at the QEII HSC in Halifax, NS, with a clinical focus on burn care, complex surgical and traumatic wounds, and pressure injuries. Before joining the hospital as staff in July of 2018, he completed his plastic surgery residency at Dalhousie University in 2016, and his Critical Care Medicine fellowship between Dalhousie University and the University of Toronto, with training at the Ross Tilley Burn Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital. He is the Director of the QEII HSC Burn Unit, and as assistant professor at Dalhousie University.
